Application for Young Adults

The Austin Story Project operates with the belief that we all long for belonging, transcendence, and transformation. We recognize that adults under the age of 40 experience particular stressors and structures of alienation that get in the way. Storytelling that connects our lives with Jesus’ life is the shape of our response. We want to prepare and support a cadre of Young Adult Story Guides to invite their peers into this storytelling movement. 

Young Adult Story Guides are people age 25 to 35ish who are Christians or on a journey toward Christ, have experience with storytelling of some kind, demonstrated leadership or facilitation experience, demonstrated capacity for vulnerability among people other than close friends, and a strong desire for belonging and connection.
